Scribbles and scrawls (and a book recommendation)

I've been enjoying flicking through Visual Communication for Landscape Architects by Trudi Entwistle and Edwin Knighton the last couple of weeks. It's got loads of examples from all stages of the design process, which is really interesting to see. Was weirdly shocked to see that proper actual designers also do felt pen scribbles in the early stages (well, not that scrawly, but still...). Not sure why I was so surprised as it's what we've been taught to do for the entire course, but it's quite heartening to see!

Also noted a lot of perspective drawing skill on show - really really need to work on this. It's bloody irritating not being able to do it properly. Grrrrr!

VERY HAPPY to have finished all our other modules yesterday by they way - can finally just concentrate on this one. Yay!
